FAQs
Silagen Beige Extremity Strips 8×2 FAQs
Q: What are Silagen beige extremity strips 8×2 used for?
A: Silagen beige extremity strips 8×2 are ideal for treating medium-length scars on areas like arms, legs, or the abdomen. They help soften, flatten, and fade scars while blending naturally with skin tone.
Q: How do Silagen beige extremity strips 8×2 improve scar appearance?
A: The medical-grade silicone creates a breathable, moisture-rich barrier that supports balanced collagen production. With consistent daily use, scars typically heal smoother, lighter, and less raised over several weeks.
Q: How long should I wear the beige extremity strips each day?
A: For best results, wear the strips for 8–12 hours daily. If you have sensitive skin, start with shorter wear times and gradually increase. Consistent use over 8–12 weeks delivers optimal results.
Q: Can I trim the Silagen beige extremity strips 8×2 to fit my scar?
A: Yes. You can trim the strips using clean scissors to match your scar’s length or shape. Proper coverage ensures even silicone contact across the entire scar for effective treatment.
Q: When can I start using these strips after surgery or injury?
A: You can begin using the strips once the incision or wound is fully healed and cleared by your healthcare provider. Early use helps prevent raised, firm, or discolored scars from forming.
