How to Use Silagen Beige Extremity Strips
- Use only after the wound has fully closed and any stitches or sutures have been removed.
- Clean and dry the scar area before applying the silicone scar strip.
- Cut the strip to fit the scar area if needed, then apply it directly over the closed scar.
- Wear twice daily for 8–12 weeks for optimal results; if you're prone to hypertrophic or keloid scarring, you may want to continue treatment for up to 6 months.
- Remove before bathing or applying skincare products, then wash with mild soap and water or Silagen Cleanser every 2–3 uses, and air dry the strip before reapplying.
- Do not apply lotions, oils, creams, or powders under the strip, as this may affect adhesion.
- Do not use Silagen gel or additional strips — they will not adhere properly
