How to Use Silagen Clear Extremity Strips 8" x 2"
- Begin use after 2 weeks once the wound has fully closed with no bleeding or oozing and after any stitches have been removed
- Do not apply to open wounds
- Ensure the scar area is clean, dry, and free from creams, lotions, ointments, and powders
- Apply Silagen Ab/Extremity Strips Clear directly to the scar area being treated
- Wear twice daily for 8–12 weeks for best results
- Wash with mild soap and water or Silagen Clean Foam Cleanser every 2–3 wears to maintain adhesion
- Allow the strips to fully air dry before reapplying
- If you are prone to hypertrophic or keloid scars, you may continue use for up to 6 months
- Do not use with Silagen gel or additional silicone strips, as this may reduce adhesion
